Role
In your role as a the Customer Quality Engineer for AEC Products, you’ll manage all aspects of Quality for field deployed AEC products. Support customer teams and drive internal teams to provide the necessary data, solutions and causes for field failures. You will work with our manufacturing, supply chain, operations, and finance teams: collaborating with sales and business development teams to drive product improvement, and interface between the customers and internal teams.
Qualifications
- Be the main representative of quality challenges to the customer.
- Review and discuss customer quality results with customers
- Drives customer compliant resolution process, ensuring robustness of problem solving (RCCA-8D...)
- Ensure the correct escalation of the alert system in the company
- Track all warranty claims
- Fluent in English and Mandarin
Responsibilities
- Develop, document in writing, draw conclusions, and make recommendations to identify quality issues to upper management
- Apply change management tools and processes in related activities by verifying products and processes, developing key measures.
- Work with customers to examine quality requirements related to overall product quality
- Perform internal audits to ensure compliance with ISO 9000
- Manage customer audits
- Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures
- Track plant performance against quality requirements using established measurement standards
- Facilitate continuous improvement quality activities to reduce the potential for defects
- Document improvements so internal teams can implement changes
- Negotiates with the customer to implement globally aligned best practices for quality control testing, product inspection, data reporting, and information sharing with the customer
- Ensures analytical techniques meet customer expectations.
- Ensures sites are prepared for and successfully pass customer audits
- Ensures customer specific requirements are included in the internal audit plan
- Partners with local and global staff during quality issues to ensure internal global alignment and manages the relationship with the customer

- Own discipline and broadens capabilities
- Information systems and products statistical tools
- ISO9001 & TL9000 standard and certified QMS auditor will be an advantage
Experience
- 10+ years direct experience
- Certifications are a plus ASQ, CQE, CQM, ISO, PMP, LEAN
- Bachelor's and University Degree in Engineering, Technical, Electrical Engineering, Science, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics
Pay Range: $150,000 - $175,000
