This hire will support IP and Chiplets Biz Dev, working with the sales team, finance, legal and engineering to grow those business lines in North America
- We are seeking a business development professional to enhance relationships and grow business within North America
- This highly visible position is a balance between account management, sales, and business development.
- You will directly manage some of Credo’s customers as well as be responsible for new designs wins.
- You will work closely with and manage multi-functional teams including Application Engineers, Business Unit Marketing, Legal, Finance, and executives to achieve sales targets in the region.
- Responsibilities include developing and managing a sales pipeline while driving market penetration, adoption, and revenue.
- Provide market and account feedback to the internal Business Units to drive product roadmaps and strategies.
- Basic understanding on the commercial transaction of semiconductor industry, ASIC design process, H/W manufacturing flow, price management, accounting, and revenue.
- Manage collection and dissemination of market and competitive insights.
- Track activities and provide reports to management, BU and executive personnel on account strategies activities and progress.
- Minimum 5 years in licensing of Semiconductor IP technology and ASIC/SoC product areas preferred.
- BSEE or equivalent (MBA a plus)
- Prior experience in connectivity interface IP subsystem design will be a plus.
- Strong background in technology, with broad-based comprehension of hardware and software issues
- Demonstrate aptitude to quickly comprehend complex hardware and software solutions.
- Solid understanding of markets and applications to drive product sales.
- Experience working with small start-ups and large enterprise accounts driving complex, differentiated technology.
- Hands on, self-starter who can demonstrate intuition and creativity to drive complex strategic deals.
- Outgoing, proactive, and can-do attitude
- Exceptional written and verbal communications skills that can be applied to multiple audiences (technical, financial, executive)
- Proficient in office productivity software.
- Ideal candidate resides near San Jose, CA.
- Ability to travel.
- Understand the various interface protocols; IEEE802.3, OIF, PCIe, CXL, UCIe.
- Understanding of system interface architectures and applications.
- Representation in standards bodies
- Proven ability to operate independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Pay Range: $160,000 – $185,000
