Role
We are seeking a talented Senior Cloud Engineer to join our growing team. This role is vital for overseeing our cloud network, system, and security operations as we expand our infrastructure. You'll coordinate projects aligned with global IT/Security policies, work closely with cloud platform and development engineering teams, and contribute to infrastructure and architecture assessments.
As a key technical contributor, you'll help define our cloud strategy, implement best practices, and ensure our infrastructure meets compliance requirements. Responsibilities
- Provide Tier I-III hands-on support for cloud server, network, and security administration
- Implement and maintain high-availability infrastructure for continuous service delivery
- Define and document architectural standards, patterns, and best practices
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration into the IT ecosystem
- Partner with security teams to remediate risks through technical and procedural solutions
- Analyze IT resource utilization and develop optimization plans
- Monitor infrastructure services ensuring high uptime and performance
- Support budget forecasting, capacity planning, and vendor management
- Create and maintain SOPs, knowledge base articles, and documentation
- Contribute to compliance roadmap and IT/Security policy alignment
- Develop quarterly metrics and improvement plans
- Proven track record of project management
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of cloud experience in infrastructure design and maintenance
- 3+ years of collaborative experience with networks, servers, and security
- 3+ years of operations experience including deployment, monitoring, and cost analysis
- Proven project management track record
- Strong understanding of network & system protocols
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and compliance requirements
- Experience with operating systems and monitoring systems administration
- Proficiency with ITSM tools (Jira, Zendesk, ServiceNow)
- Excellent communication, troubleshooting, and organizational skills
- Experience with change & patch management processes

Experience working with products in the following categories
- Cloud platform certifications (GCP/AWS/Azure)
- ITIL certification or extensive project management experience
- Security tool knowledge and security-oriented mindset
- Engineering process experience and collaboration
- Track record of completing large company-wide projects
- Familiar with engineering processes and collaboration in experience
Pay Range: $125,000 - $145,000 / year
