BLUEBIRD

The Bluebird is a high-performance digital signal processor (DSP) based on 3nm CMOS technology and designed to enable 224Gbps per lane PAM4 data transmission for 1.6Tbps optical transceivers. Delivering industry-leading power efficiency and ultra-low latency, the Bluebird DSP is ideal for next-generation AI networks where high-bandwidth, low power and extreme reliability are critical.

The Bluebird DSP comprises four or eight lanes of 224Gb/s PAM4 to support high-density 800G, or high-capacity 1.6T optical transceivers, and includes a comprehensive suite of telemetry and performance optimization features. Available in full DSP and Linear Receive Optics (LRO) variants, the Bluebird DSP addresses a wide variety of networking architecture options for both scale-up and scale-out use cases.
