1.6T DR8 Silicon Photonics Chip

Oz8

The ’Oz8’ is a 1.6Tbps Photonic Integrated Circuit (PIC) engine supporting eight optical transmit lanes operating at 200Gbps per lane with PAM-4 modulation (106.25 Gbaud). It is based on Silicon Photonics (SiPho) technology and includes integrated Continuous Wave (CW) lasers, eight low-loss Mach-Zehnder Modulators (MZMs), low speed phase shifters, and power monitors.

The PIC dies are sold post burn-in, and are both electrically and optically tested.
