Credo AECs Named “Data Center Solution of the Year” in Data Breakthrough Awards Program

Credo’s active electrical cables (AECs) have been named “Data Center Solution of the Year” in the 7^th annual Data Breakthrough Awards program conducted by Data Breakthrough, an independent market intelligence organization that recognizes the top companies, technologies and products in the global data technology market today.

Recognized for their distinctive purple cables, Credo’s ZeroFlap AECs are known for delivering highly reliable interconnect for AI backend networks. AECs are the de facto standard for inter-rack connectivity and are now displacing optical rack-to-rack connections up to 7 meters.

AECs are narrow-gauge copper cables with industry-standard connectors at each end. Credo has integrated its low-power, high-performance retimers, gearboxes and FEC circuitry in the connectors to ensure signal integrity at 56G and 112G per lane. These SerDes devices not only provide signal integrity retiming, and speed shifting, but they enable throughput with cables that are lighter weight, less volume, and more reliable than other solutions.
