The ‘Carmel8’ is an 800Gbps Photonic Integrated Circuit (PIC) engine supporting eight optical transmit lanes operating at 100Gbps per lane with PAM-4 modulation (53.125 Gbaud). The ‘Carmel8’ integrates Low Loss Laser Coupling (L3C™) technology, enabling higher performance and scalability while reducing cost and power consumption.
