800G DR4 Silicon Photonics Chip

Oz4

The ’Oz4’ is an 800Gbps Photonic Integrated Circuit (PIC) engine supporting four optical transmit lanes operating at 200Gbps per lane with PAM-4 modulation (106.25 Gbaud). It is based on Silicon Photonics (SiPho) technology and includes an integrated Continuous Wave (CW) laser, four low-loss Mach-Zehnder Modulators (MZMs), low-speed phase shifters, and power monitors.

The PIC dies are sold post-burn-in, and are both electrically and optically tested.
